I am Attorney Imad Soubra, founder of the Soubra Law Firm in Frederick, Maryland. Licensed to practice in Maryland and educated at the University of Maryland, and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, I provide legal assistance to clients throughout Frederick, Washington, Montgomery, and Carroll Counties.

At the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. While I attended UMBC, I have worked for an Engineering Company. I worked on various engineering projects during my time with them. After graduating from UMBC with a Chemical Engineering degree, I worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). I examined and prosecuted several Patent Applications along with Patent Cooperative Treaty (PCT) Application to determine if the pending applications are novel and non-obvious to the current technology in the public domain.

At the USPTO, my employment with that agency sparked my interest in studying law and the thinking like a lawyer. I received a legal education and acquired a law degree. I attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School where I acquired a J.D. and passed the Maryland State Bar in 2005. However, I wanted to continue with an advanced law degree which is an LL.M. degree from the George Washington School of Law. After I acquired three degrees under my belt (B.S.E, J.D., LL.M.), I worked for an Intellectual Property Law Firm in the Baltimore Area representing the Patent Applicant in the Patent Prosecution side. Afterwards, I worked at a couple firms doing the same.

I decided in the late 2008 and 2009 to start a Law Practice in the Frederick area practicing general practice law such as Family Law, Divorce, Custody, Personal Injury, Car Crashes, Workers Compensation, DUI, DWI, Criminal Defense, Serious Traffic Violation, and Bankruptcy.

My goal in forming my practice is to help people in need of legal help and try to do the best of my ability to make it reasonable and the work necessary to provide someone with an effective representation. I have been representing many individuals in Maryland and more specifically in the counties of Frederick, Washington and Montgomery and the remaining Maryland Counties. I believe It is important to aid someone in their legal issue because it can help them probably for the their remainder of their lives. It is very important to retain an attorney who will protect and look after your best interest and do what is in your best interest.

I decided to follow my passion for assisting people, taking my desire all the way to the George Washington University School of Law, where I earned a Master of Laws degree. Using my education and my dedication for helping my clients, I offer knowledgeable and flexible legal assistance.
